Bred by Michael Gadsby and Jason Lynn, owned by Jason and David.

A proven sire, Face has sired top winning offspring.  Fresh, chilled and frozen semen available.

In August 2010, David received a phone call from Mike Gadsby (Face's co-breeder) asking if David was "short of dogs".  This, of course was a leading question!!!  After doing a little bit of research ... okay, looking at some photos ... David decided that this dog looked like something special so he could "make room" at home (even though he never thought he would live with a pointer and certainly not a liver!).

Face was shown very lightly as a puppy and was extremely successful, however decided that showing wasn't really his thing.  He had been living with his breeders Mike Gadsby and Jason Lynn who thought David may like another challenge in trying to win Face over!  David didn't think one liver and white dog could have had quite such an effect on him, however since Face arrived with him in August their bond has grown stronger and they are now the best of friends ... Face can often be found curled up in the office with David during the working day!!

Born in 2009, Face has a wonderful pedigree and combines what we think are the best of English and Continental lines.  His sire is Sh Ch Adstock Professor Higgins with Afterglow, who himself is a Sh Ch Stonebridgelees Sendik son.  Face's dam is Bradgate Mystic Mauka, a daughter of one of the UK's top pointers - Sh Ch/Aus Ch/NZ Gr Ch Chesterhope Lets Be Serious at Kanix.

A stunning photo of Face which was taken at Crufts 2011, by the very talented Amelia Siddle.

We have been hugely complimented by the number of people who have admired Face... and very flattered at all the people who just want to cuddle him!

Pictured winning the DCC (his first) & BoB at Bournemouth Championship Show August 2011.

Face won the DCC and Best of Breed at Bournemouth Championship Show under esteemed breed specialist Vicky Everinton of the famous Peakdale affix.

Amongst other compliments, her critique read: "He fits the standard so well"

In October 2011, Face was awarded his second CC - again with best of breed - from another breed specialist, this time Fran Barr of the Byzan prefix.  Yet another highly respected breed specialist judge recognising his qualities.  In March 2012, Face showed his socks off again at Crufts and was awarded the RDCC from breed specialist John Evans (Joneva).

Face gained his title whilst David was judging at another show!  David's other half, David Crowther, handled him under breed specialist Hilda Parkinson at City of Birmingham Championship Show where Face gained his crowning CC - allowing him to become a "Show Champion".  His fourth CC was awarded to him by gundog specialist Miss Sharon Pinkerton (Bareve) and his fifth from specialist Mrs Dawn Ingham of Calderside Pointer fame.  A sixth CC followed on from Fowington Pointer's Geraldine O'Driscoll, while his seventh was award to him from Donna MacDougall of the great Adstock Pointer Kennel.  CC's have continued to hall his way from relatively limited showing and to date he has amassed 12, along with two group placings and a group win.  Not too bad for a dog who hated showing and was perceived as being tricky!
